One of the main topics for innovative new products in the production environment is for example the simulation of processes and production facilities. Through virtualization, the real and virtual industry are continuously growing together by means of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS).
Pre-testing in virtual simulations already saves time and money, such as testing future manufacturing processes or new products.
Virtual techniques are used in all areas and phases of planning processes. Nevertheless real model systems are still used, for that the combination of both fields – virtual and real - in the area of industry 4.0 still is a challenge.
The aim of the project is the development of a technology for modelling and simulating Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS) by means of 3D-sensor-technology. With the help of a 3D-scanner, haptic logistics and production models are captured via computer. The parameters read in, are transmitted to the computer, which imports the model by means of the developed simulation software.
